Sake Jewels Return & Exchange Policy

Effective Date: June 1, 2026

At Sake Jewels, we want you to shop with confidence. If your purchase isn't exactly what you expected, we're here to help.


1. 30-Day Returns

We accept returns within 30 calendar days of the delivery date for eligible items.

To qualify for a return, your jewelry must:

  • Be in its original, unworn condition
  • Include the original jewelry box, certificate, and all accompanying materials
  • Show no signs of wear, damage, resizing, alteration, or repair
  • Pass our quality inspection upon arrival

Items that do not meet these requirements may not be eligible for a refund.


2. Exchanges

We are happy to offer one complimentary exchange on eligible items within 30 days of delivery.

If you would like a different ring size, metal color, or another design, our team will guide you through the exchange process.

Any price difference will be charged or refunded accordingly.


3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Custom-made jewelry
  • Personalized or engraved jewelry
  • Made-to-order pieces
  • Special-order items
  • Gift cards
  • Items altered by another jeweler
  • Items showing signs of wear or damage

4. How to Start a Return

To begin a return:

  1. Contact our Customer Care team with your order number
  2. We will review your request
  3. Once approved, we will provide a prepaid insured return shipping label and return instructions
  4. Carefully package your jewelry using the original packaging
  5. Ship the package using the provided return label within 7 days of receiving authorization

Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.


5. Return Shipping

For eligible returns, Sake Jewels provides a prepaid insured shipping label.

All return shipments must:

  • Use the provided shipping label
  • Be fully insured
  • Include tracking
  • Require a signature upon delivery

6. Inspection Process

Every returned item undergoes a thorough quality inspection before a refund is processed.

Our inspection includes:

  • Verification of the original diamond and certification (where applicable)
  • Inspection for wear, scratches, resizing, or alterations
  • Confirmation that all original packaging and certificates are included
  • Verification that the item matches the original order records

Please note: If the original grading certificate is not returned, a replacement fee may be deducted from your refund. If an item does not pass inspection, it may be returned to the customer without a refund.


7. Refund Processing

Once your return passes inspection:

  • Your refund will be issued to your original payment method
  • Refunds are generally processed within 3–5 business days
  • Depending on your financial institution, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.


8. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photographs of the item and packaging
  • A description of the issue

We will work with you to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.


9. Cancellations

Orders may be canceled before production begins. Once production has started or a custom item has entered manufacturing, cancellation may not be possible.


10. Warranty

Every Sake Jewels piece is backed by our limited warranty covering manufacturing defects.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Accidental damage
  • Loss or theft
  • Damage caused by improper care
  • Repairs or alterations performed by third parties
